GERALD SNEDDON APPOINTED TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Vancouver, BC - Pinnacle Mines Ltd. is pleased to announce that Mr. Gerald Sneddon, of Boise, Idaho, has been appointed to the board of directors. Mr. Sneddon is a professional engineer with over 40 years of experience in the development and operation of gold, silver, copper, iron and phosphate mines in the United States, Canada and throughout the world. He has traveled and worked extensively in China, Mongolia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico and Latin and South America. In addition to his extensive operating experience, Mr. Sneddon has supervised several feasibility studies through mine construction and start-ups. During his career he has held senior management positions with the Anaconda Company, Kaiser Steel, Beker Industries and Morrison Knudsen.Mr. Sneddon has been a senior corporate officer in numerous public companies and was recently an Executive Vice-President of MK Gold and Executive Vice-President of Francisco Gold Corp. He is currently a director of Chesapeake Gold Corp., Gold Standard Inc. and until recently, a director of
Glamis Gold Ltd. Pinnacle Mines Ltd., subject to regulatory approval, has agreed to grant Mr. Sneddon an incentive stock option on 90,000 shares of Pinnacle, exercisable at a price of $0.70 per share for a five year period.
Pinnacle Mines Ltd. further reports that the board has accepted the resignation of Mr. Alan C. Savage, who has resigned to pursue other endeavors. The board thanks Mr. Savage for his participation and input during the early stages of Pinnacle's development. Mr. Savage will continue to be an advisor to the board.
