RESULTS OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Pinnacle Mines Ltd. is pleased to announce that on June 24, 2004, the Company held its Annual General and Extraordinary Meeting. Elected to the board were the following individuals:
Mr. Paul Saxton, P. Eng., a mining engineer who has been active in the mining industry since 1969, holding various positions including mining engineer, mine superintendent, President and CEO of numerous Canadian mining companies.
Mr. Andrew Bowering, a corporate administrator with 17 years experience in the financing and management of exploration, development and start-up companies who has held senior executive positions and directorships in numerous public companies involved in mineral exploration in Canada, the United States, Mexico and China.
Mr. Steven Chi, a professional mining engineer with a distinguished career as an executive of the international mining and construction giant, Washington Group International (formerly Morrison Knudsen Company). He has traveled and worked worldwide, including the Americas, Asia and Europe. Mr. Chi currently serves on the board of administrators for a large lignite mine and power plant complex in Leipzig, Germany. Mr. Chi has extensive experience and contacts in all aspects of mining and development including gold and precious metals mining and previously, served on the board of NASDAQ listed MK Gold Company.
Mr. Gerald Sneddon, a professional engineer and metallurgist with over 40 years of experience in the development and operation of gold, silver, copper, iron and phosphate mines in the United States, Canada and throughout the world. He has traveled and worked extensively in China, Mongolia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico and South America. In addition to his extensive operating experience, Mr. Sneddon has supervised several feasibility studies through mine construction and start-ups. During his career he has held senior management positions with the Anaconda Company, Kaiser Steel, Beker Industries and Morrison Knudsen.
Mr. Ke Xi Ping, the chairman, founder and owner of Xiamen Hengxing Industry Co., Ltd., a diversified Chinese domiciled enterprise group that holds controlling and minority interests in at least 13 enterprises with total assets exceeding $110 million. He is a major shareholder of and contract miner to, Fujian Zijin Mining Industry Co., Ltd. (Purple Mountain), China’s largest gold producer and a Hong Kong listed company. In addition to his holdings in Zijin, Mr. Ke holds numerous other mining assets and mineral properties throughout China.
Mr. Donald Archibald, an insurance agent for Archibald, Clarke & Defieux. Mr. Archibald has been actively involved in venture capital and mineral exploration and development markets for over 20 years. He has been a senior officer and director of numerous public companies and has been responsible for raising in excess of $20 million for resource development.
In addition, Pinnacle’s auditors were reappointed for the upcoming year, the Company’s stock option plan was approved, the authorized capital was increased to an unlimited number of shares and special resolutions were passed to bring Pinnacle into compliance with the new rules under the British Columbia Company Act.
