SURFACE SAMPLING EXTENDS HIGH GRADE PERSEVERANCE GOLD ZONE AN ADDITIONAL 800 METERS ON SILVER COIN PROPERTY, B.C.

Pinnacle Mines Ltd. (“Pinnacle”) and partner Mountain Boy Minerals Ltd. (Mountain Boy) report that surface sampling and trenching have extended the high grade Perseverance gold (silver-zinc) zone a further 800 meters along strike to the northwest of all previous work on the Silver Coin property in northern B.C.  As a result, the Perseverance zone now has a strike length of at least 1.9 kilometers and a vertical height of 400 meters, extending from the Big Missouri ridge down to the Salmon River.

The Perseverance zone consists of heavily mineralized, silicified and brecciated volcanic rocks carrying massive pyrite and sphalerite veinlets with minor amounts of galena and chalcopyrite over an exposed width of up to15 metres.  It is parallel to the main high grade Kansas gold (silver-zinc) zone presently being drilled, which also has substantial untested strike potential to the northwest.

A new trench 500 meters northwest of previous work partially exposed the zone and returned the following assays from representative grab samples taken across the zone:

Pinnacle and Mountain Boy now plan to conduct more trenching and sampling to better define this newly discovered extension to the mineralization for subsequent drilling.  The current drill program is on hole 2005-53, located 120 meters north of holes 2004-37 and 38, in an attempt to continue extending the main Kansas zone to the northwest.

Mineralization in the Perseverance, Kansas and other mineralized structures on the Silver Coin property is similar to ore from the nearby and former Silbak-Premier mine, which produced 1.8 million ounces gold,  41 million ounces silver, 4.2 million pounds copper,  62 million pounds lead and 20 million pounds zinc.

E. Kruchkowski, P. Geo, a qualified person under the National Instrument 43-101, is in charge of the exploration programs on behalf of the companies. Drill core, trench and surface samples are assayed at Assayers Canada of Vancouver B.C.  He has established a sampling and assaying quality assurance and control program with blind insertion of assay standards.  There is also an internal quality control and quality assurance program in place at Assayers Canada that includes blanks, duplicates and standards.

Pinnacle Mines Ltd. is a Canadian based mineral exploration and development company whose activities are international in scope. Its primary assets are located in both Canada and China. In Canada, Pinnacle holds several properties in Northwestern British Columbia, in proximity to numerous past and producing mines including the Silbak-Premier Mine and Barrick Gold’s famed Eskay Creek Mine. In China, Pinnacle’s current focus is in Southeast Yunnan, an area being increasingly considered for its potential to host significant mineral resources including “Carlin” style gold deposits.
